Our client, an internationally based multi-disciplinary consultancy, is looking for a Safety Assurance Systems Engineering Manager to work in their offices in Sydney, Australia. Key duties: Manage all aspects of Safety Assurance and Systems Engineering. Assist the SSCAD team in identifying critical products and suppliers to be monitored. Review and where necessary analyse RAMS issues, FMECAs, SIL reports and safety requirements. Manage verification & validation activities. Manage the financial performance of any assigned projects by the team manager. Understanding of technical matters (including safety aspects) and identify any impact upon the product or service.
Technical competencies:
Engineering Degree with a minimum of 10 Years applicable practical experience in safety assurance/systems engineering experience. Well honed commercial acumen Excellent project management skills and a proven track record in successful project delivery Relevant Tertiary qualifications Experience in managing multi-disciplinary project teams
Candidates for this position should presently be working in Australia and have recent safety assurance experience.
