| Job Description |
Elite Recruitment Group are looking an experienced professional to provide technical and team leadership on reservoir engineering and multi-disciplinary integrated projects through the effective application of project management, peer review, quality assurance and client interaction.
As a Senior Reservoir Engineer the successful candidate will also be expected to work as an individual contributor when required. My client desires at least 10 years of relevant reservoir engineering experience, preferably gained with an operator. Experience with dynamic reservoir modelling and operational experience are also advantageous. A good understanding and track record of integration with other subsurface disciplines is essential as well as a good combination of technical excellence and communication skills.
Qualifications
The successful applicant should have solid experience in the following:
oSolid background in classical reservoir engineering principles and methods, including material balance analysis, fluid characterization, SCAL data interpretation, welltest interpretation, well performance and production forecasting
oExperience in field development, asset evaluation, reserves estimation, dataroom evaluations
oOperational experience (e.g. welltesting, production logging, well intervention) desired
oFunctional understanding of geology, geophysics, petrophysics and reservoir characterization issues and how they relate to reservoir performance and development planning.
oProficiency in industry standard analytical reservoir engineering packages, preferably including Petex IPM Suite, Saphir and/or PanSystem, PVTsim is desirable
oHands-on experience with numerical reservoir simulation and proficiency in Eclipse would be beneficial
oExperience in Resources-Reserves evaluation and classifications
oMSc or PhD in science or engineering
oFluent in written and spoken technical English
oStrong analytical and communication skills
oEnjoy working in a multi-disciplinary team environment
oAbility to mentor and motivate junior staff |
