The Senior Traffic Expert will be routinely involved in reviewing the Traffic Impact Studies for private developments. In addition, the Senior Traffic Expert will be requested to provide continuous assistance to the Traffic Operators at the Traffic Control Center in the municipality. Thus, they shall need to be very dynamic, fast and efficient in providing advice and assistance to the traffic control center on how to optimize traffic flow along corridors and junctions during different times of day, how to facilitate traffic flow during incidents, etc. Therefore, the Senior Traffic Expert shall need to have extensive experience in the following: - design of traffic signal plans - design, simulation and micro-modeling of junctions and roundabouts - traffic signal coordination for corridors and arterials - corridor management
