The Traffic Engineer will be routinely involved in reviewing the Traffic Impact Studies for private developments. In addition, he/she will be requested to provide continuous assistance to the Traffic Operators at the Traffic Control Center in the municipality. Thus, they shall need to be very dynamic, fast and efficient in providing advice and assistance to the traffic control center on how to optimize traffic flow along corridors and junctions during different times of day, how to facilitate traffic flow during incidents, etc. Therefore, the Traffic Engineer shall need to have extensive experience in the following: - design of traffic signal plans - design, simulation and micro-modeling of junctions and roundabouts - traffic signal coordination for corridors and arterials - corridor management
General Requirements - Educational requirement: Bachelor in Civil Engineering - Work experience: minimum 4 years working experience - His main area of expertise should be in traffic engineering, traffic management and control, and traffic operations.
